FRENCH LANGUAGE AND CULTURE

French   Conversation   I

Basic  practice  in  comprehension  and  production  of  the  spoken  language.  Emphasis  on  oral

communication  with  an  introduction  of  basic  grammatical  concepts  and  the  development  of

reading  and  vocabulary  skills.  Cultural  topics  are  presented.  Students  will  be  assessed  according

to  the  following  formula:  Attendance  and  participation,  assignments  and  oral  and  written

examination.

French   Conversation   II

This  is  a  continuation  of  French  I.  Its  aim  is  to  present  essential  vocabulary  and  grammar,  and  to

develop  the  pronunciation,  listening,  reading,  and  writing  skills  necessary  for  communication

and  comprehension.  Customs  and  cultural  insights  are  also  presented.  Students  will  be  assessed
